"Stuart K Robinson and his class is first rate. Stuart allowed my background in athletics to work for me. He has helped me use the natural instincts I had as a 14 yr NFL lineman, and use them to dissect the understanding of, and the application of, a character and his scene. He accomplishes this with a great understanding of what it takes to be prepared for auditions and book jobs. With ONE session, Stuart helped me book a major feature film."

Most artists, however, recognize the need to continue to maintain and develop their craft, so ongoing education can be scheduled as you see fit.
Why is there no auditing?
We recognize that many advisers suggest you audit a class before you commit time and money. However, our goal is to protect each student's freedom to experiment, and freedom to fail. Auditors often begin to feel like an audience or a gallery of judges, turning the classroom work into a kind of performance rather than a learning exploration. For this reason, we suggest you commit to a minimum number of sessions with the promise in mind that if after the first class you determine this studio is not the place for you; a refund will be given with no hard feelings.
How often will I get to work each month?
Every student works every class at least once. Although we value the power of observation, our classes are structured to be small enough that every artist receives the opportunity to work every night.
Is there an "agent night"?
We subscribe to the philosophy that a classroom should be just that: a place to learn, risk, and experiment. Because of this, we discourage the practice of using class time to showcase for prospective agents.
On the other hand, we have an open door policy for agents who wish to monitor progress of their clients, or observe the techniques employed at our studio. This is done by allowing observation of the work process, rather than a performance environment. Also, every student has the opportunity to ask in-depth questions about strategies and techniques for acquiring representation.
What philosophy of acting is practiced at the studio?
Our approach is a mix of the high points of every known acting philosophy. We utilize pieces of any technique that produces results, without committing to the protocols that can make some techniques counterproductive. As martial artist Bruce Lee once said: "all styles, but no style." If it works, we use it.
